PERCEPTIONS OF DEATH
This came from a project I completed studying people's own perceptions of what happens when you die and how it changes the way you live. This perception was the common idea of heaven and hell; the piece was created using oil paints, a new venture of mine that I am taking a liking to. It represents the crossover of heaven (top) and hell (bottom) through Earth. I developed this by photographing it outside to present the contrast of something considered a natural occurrence and a man-made object, when in reality they are both man-made concepts.
