The Corporate Design for the Interior Design bachelor degree program at LaSalle College Vancouver spanned the course of 1 quarter, a period of 3 months. This project was based on commercial space available for leasing in a Vancouver neighborhood - Gastown. The proposal was to combine the concept of a traditional office with a modern twist for a the "MarkTeam" Marketing Agency.
Overall the space is collaborative but private areas are also provided - meeting room and shared quiet rooms for private calls and jobs of which silence is required.
Hierarchy is considered through private offices for the three principals. The office offers a space for socialization - a spacious kitchen that works as well as a bar and a coffee area and a space for relaxation - reading and chilling booths.
The industrial style is kept through brick walls and apparent structure, wiring and plumbing on the ceiling and the colors blue and red make their appearance for colorful twist and introduction to branding, matching with the logo colors. Natural Lighting was kept through the original skylights, reducing the need of artificial light.
