Through this collaboration with Rab & Lowe Alpine I documented the ascent of a selection of Scottish winter mountains, and the kit that aided us in our journey. The back story to what started this shoot was about myself and a good friend. We'd only recently re-connected through Covid-19 lockdown in our hometown of Cambridge. After two years of next to no contact, it was in the height of lockdown that evening runs re-connected us, and our joint passion for outdoor excursions. This trip enabled us to feel the sense of escapism, and the adventure of leaving the flat fenland of Cambridge to head North, for the cold wild highlands.
