On the left is the original photo taken long time ago, just for the sake of capturing a moment from the day. On the right - years later the same photo used to re-imagine this memory. When creating this particular piece, I was experimenting with turning the main subject of the photo into mesh so I could generate some new shadows in Blender onto it. However, I realized that it takes too much effort which is not necessary, so now I usually stick with just using 2D planes with cut out background. Was very fun to experiment though!
