Inspiration for the TTable came from the idea of fusing surprising objects and clean aesthetics to create a finished piece that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. The interesting element of the design of the TTable is the non-mechanical runners that allow the extension piece to slide out, revealing the base and main body of the table. A combination of maple and white sheet metal gives the product a clean and unpolluted image, which is reflected in the overall design. The purpose of the TTable is to enable users, who are living in small flats with little or limited space, to have a dining table that can allow for both one person to dine alone or, with the extension, accommodate for both visitors and extra space.
