The first time I read William Golding's Lord of the Flies I was only 11 years old, and I can tell you that I didn't understand the meaning of the book. Probably I didn't even like it, I just had to read it because of school.

Then years later I found a copy during a summer clean-up and sat down again. This time, I couldn't stop reading, it was so captivating. It was just one thing: I didn't like the cover of the book. It was a still from the movie adaptation in a wide white frame.

When I studied as a graphic designer I was obsessed with book covers, even made a few. This was made back in 2012.
