Term Paper 2020: A new cover for Africa
In this project, I propose a redesign for the Black Panther movie poster, so that black women and Africa’s cultural diversity can gain more relevance in the composition with the representation of the 7 tribes of Wakanda.
Subjects such as black feminism, Africa’s colonization and how the movie approaches these subjects were extensively researched. So that, at the end, there is a new design for the movie poster, highlighting the main female characters and their African roots.
