Geometric Glitch was inspired by the pixelated graphics of classic arcade games. Graphic patterns commonly found throughout these retro games have been interpreted through the medium of machine knitting. By combining brightly colored Merino wool with original punch card designs, these structures mimic the vibrational state of the pixelated screens. From these samples, I developed my own pattern pieces for the illustrated sweater and machine knit a fully-fashioned garment.
