Women's History Month Spotlight
To celebrate Women’s History Month and honor the women who changed the rules, and continue to change our lives, Kohl's collaborated with artists to create this collection. Along with a 100k donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's SMART Girls program, this DEI initiative features graphic tees, mugs, candles, totes, and more.
What was your inspiration for the artwork?
My artwork was inspired by anyone who identifies as a woman, more specifically I was inspired by the femmes and trans women in my life. I wanted to showcase their strength and resilience while celebrating softness and growth. Women are full of nuance and that is something we should celebrate.

What story would you like your art to tell?
My personal goal as an artist is to create inclusive artwork that uplifts and celebrates. I want
someone to see my artwork and smile because it resonates with them.

What does Women’s History Month mean to you personally? How will you celebrate it, and why is Women’s History Month important and relevant to everyone?
It is important to celebrate Women’s History Month and recognize not only the women in history but also the women in our everyday lives putting in the work. As a child of an immigrant mother I have seen that work and strength daily. I see and recognize the leadership in my community
and the women who push for a better tomorrow. While we celebrate their resilience I think it’s
also important to remember that everyone who identifies as a woman deserves to be supported
and loved. I will be celebrating Women’s History Month by giving the women and femmes in my life recognition and a much needed break.
