The brief was to create a set of three kitchen utensils for the brand Alessi. The following project shows my process from ideation, showing mock-ups and prototypes to final CAD designs and renders.

The brand board is used to find the brands identity, style, and format. As well as their design process, material choices and target market.

The precedent study analyses the utensils I am designing and the existing types currently in the market. Researching manufacturing processes, material, aesthetics, form, and styles. As well as usability and ergonomics.  

These sketches were used to explore utensil designs. Exploring types of utensils, handle designs and ergonomics.

Mockup development exploring form and ergonomics. First using foam for rapid development and then using Aluminium, wood and leather for the final prototypes
