This is an event poster I created for Kinokophonography, a field-recordist collective based in Manchester, England.

 

"Kinoko" means "mushroom" in Japanese, & the word "phone" pertains to sound (e.g. telephone, microphone, headphone). The founders of the group used a microphone-head on a mushroom-stalk as their mascot, which I expanded on in the poster.
