The Ratchet is a tool in the purest form of the word.  Everything about this vehicle is about pure function.  

It was designed as a cab-over-engine in order to decrease its length.  This was important in the philosophy of this design as this vehicle was meant to hold every bit of cargo (more actually) than even its largest competitor, but in a much smaller footprint.  Making it easier to drive, and much easier to park.  

Every square inch of usable space in this vehicle has been utilized by either storage space, or functional utility.  Options such as fold out worktables or onboard air, water and electrical outlets.  Trucks have a lot of dead space that is not utilized as it should be.  Areas such as the bedsides and rocker areas.  All of these pockets of underutilized space have been occupied by something useful.
