The goal of this design is to remind people to turn off the steam iron after each use. It can be dangerous to leave the iron plugged since the cord and surrounding items could catch on fire if not turned off. The inspiration comes from the toggle switch from iOS, which is a vector icon people are familiar with. The design highlights the different forms of being turned on and being turned off. It also replaced the cord with a safe charging stand, making it a useful and risk-free appliance.
