Period: The Bloody Truth Exhibition (University)

Brief - Exhibit!
The brief was to create a visual identity for one of three temporary exhibitions in London.
With several exhibitions to chose from I decided to bring to life the exhibition that highlighted the struggle people have to go through during their period. ‘Period the Bloody Truth’, is a hypothetical exhibition that would have been situated at the Wellcome Collection in London during the summer. I created an illustration which showed the constraint people have to go through when they are menstruating. The illustration shows the woman being caught and strangled in the strings of a tampon, this showing how people feel when they have to hide or conceal their periods because it socially wrong to talk about.
I created a posterzine for this exhibition which highlighted the facts and figures of menstruation accompanied by several illustrations.
