The purpose of this research compendium was to convey my research regarding the effects of games and fitness trackers as well as how these mediums can help those that are affected by health concerns. This area of interest came about when I realised that video games had affected my family and friends in various fields - such as daily habits, their social circle, and types of gadgets they use.

My research compendium is inspired by modern and dynamic page layouts.

I experimented with interesting text placements and text wrap to give my layout an element of playfulness - a term commonly associated with games. My grid system is composed of 6 flexible columns with a gutter between columns of 5mm. This allows me to experiment with different ratios to place my images and text as I can play around with 1:2, 1:1 and 1:1:1 - but still maintaining an element of consistency. I chose peach as my main colour for the compendium because it represents adventure and optimism.
