Founded in 1954, the American Federation of Motorcyclists is the oldest motorcycle road racing organization in the United States. While it remains a non-profit corporation encouraging people interested in joining in the fun in California, AFM welcomes both spectators and racers each season and dedicates efforts to ensuring entertaining yet safe and organized events.

To qualify for racing at the events, new racers must undergo a New Race School held by AFM or obtain an AFM approved NRS from any of the following providers; Let's Ride Track Days, Z² Track Days, Pacific Track Time, or Keigwins. Aside from racing and spectating, AFM also offers associate member and course worker positions to those interested.
