The theme I have chosen for the shoot is Hitchcock Heroine inspired by the works of the famous English movie maker Alfred Hitchcock. Among the most celebrated, imitated, and beloved directors of the 20th century, Alfred Hitchcock is widely seen as the father of the thriller. Known for his murder mysteries Hitchcock became famous as “The master of suspense” for applying sense of psychological suspense in his movies.
Throughout his career, Hitchcock continued to believe in cinema as a visual medium. For him, dialogue and sound should remain secondary to the image in telling the story and that is one reason he emphasized so much on the costumes. The costume and styling was in itself gave a sense of mystery and was so distinct that it is casually also known as Hitchcock style. To describe the fashion, it is very sophisticated, “upper-class” , glamorous and vintage.
Look-1
The outfit and the location together give the entire picture a very mysterious vibe. The black dress worn by the model is similar to the one Tippy Hedren wore on a poster for the movie ‘Birds’.

highly inspired by Janet Leigh’s look in the movie ‘Psycho’
In a scene she wore a high neck shirt along with a knee length skirt. So keeping that in mind, I put together a high neck t shirt with a skirt in the same color and a beige knitted sweater

This last look is inspired by the movie ‘North By Northwest’ the movie is full of fashion that is sophisticated and intriguing. Here I’ve attempted to put together an outfit that is both elegant and appealing.
