An exercise in compositing realistic imagery into an abstract landscape, mixing both organic and synthetic to create a harmonious image. Three birds were used, a toucan, a red macaw, and a peacock.

The birds were abstracted using the Liquify tool in Photoshop and their landscapes were created using various elements and colors from the original source image of the bird. Apart from images for texture, no other images other than the original bird image were used to create these images. 

Synthetic, vector shapes were used in contrast to the organic and liquid flow of the bird images. The shapes create visual balance within the pieces.
