Course assignment for Vector and Raster Graphics taken at Savannah College of Art and Design with Professor Jason Fox, Winter 2012. Students were directed to develop a solution for a cover image for a company's annual report. The image was required to be conceptual in nature and all photography must be original. Limitations were given including that the final image was to be vertical in orientation, the company's logo must be incorporated into the design, and minimal typography other than the company's logo was to be utilized.
For my personal solution I chose to develop an annual report cover for fashion house BCBG Max Azria. After thorough research of the company, it's products, and its overall aesthetic, I created a cover that reflects the simple and clean, yet innovative and intriguing, style of the BCBG brand and its products. Being a chic and modern brand, the subtle curves, detailed fabric elements, and bold color palette work in conjunction with the curved brand symbol and crisp logotype to emulate the brand perfectly.
A selection of interior spreads were developed at a later date and added to the original cover project to expand upon the design concept of developing a sleek and fashionable annual report publication. Resources:
