Pre-COVID Conventions: San Diego Comic-Con

Pre-COVID Conventions:
San Diego Comic-Con
Prior to the start of quarantine, 2020 was meant to bring about new changes and experiences, this did occur, but not in the way anyone could have expected. As the seriousness of COVID-19 became more apparent, many events were cancelled and postponed to 2021. San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) was one of many events that left its fans longing for a 2021 return.
SDCC is known for being a jam packed event. The hall floor is crowded with thousands of people at any given time. It is an extremely daunting experience, but it also provides an amazing rush as you attempt to take in everything going on around you.

The environment intoxicates your senses, so many things are occurring and you are a single person experiencing hundreds of actions. It is difficult to describe to someone who has never experienced it before, think fast paced and crowded, but also calm at times.
The cancellation of conventions, SDCC being one of many, has left fans both longing for their return and wondering what a post COVID convention would look like. I am hoping to make more convention memories alongside the people I care about, but the safety aspect of it is on my and many others minds.
