Tadeusz Kościuszko Mound
Kościuszko Mound - one of the five Kraków mounds, dedicated to Tadeusz Kościuszko. Built in 1820-23. From his death in 1817, the cult of the national hero Tadeusz Kościuszko grew. He was especially esteemed in Krakow, the city with which he was connected and where his body was buried.
