CataVinos logo design (black & white)
The idea for the logo was to convey a sense of friendly accessability and not be intimidating or "snobbish" as some wine shops can be perceived to be. Use of negative space makes the wine glass and corkscrew stem easy to identify and forms a modern, clean logo. Lithos Pro was used as the font to convey an old world sensibility while hinting at the idea of adventure.

Embossed logo on cover. CataVinos is a wine shop that features wines from around the world, and encourages tasters to explore and experiment. A leatherbound list, mimicking a journal, extends the sense of adventure one is about to embark when they handle the list, and pleasantly surprised when feeling the embossed logo.
