Lego My Eggo
Until recently (I'm 30) I didn't realize that the 90's Eggo commercial line was "Let go of my Eggo". I always thought it was "Lego my Eggo". Did I mention I'm 30?
This was design in Figma, in a late night illustration rabbit hole.
Recently, I was taking a Skillshare course on Designing for Inclusivity (by Emily Tuteur the Director of Product Design at littleBits) focused on gender-neutral product design.
The project for the course was to reimagine an existing product / toy through a gender-neutral lens. Lego is already pretty inclusive (at least the original bricks, etc.) but I decided to roll with it.
White lego bricks are nothing new, but I think it would be interesting to have 'whiteboard' drawable bricks (perhaps a special marker in that's removable by warm water) where you can not only build whatever you want, but draw (and re-draw) on them as well.
So you could build a spaceship and then draw little windows, aliens, and hyperspace warp drives to your hearts content. Or build a castle and draw crest banners and dragons.
