The Rift.
A rift was opened
with a sudden shaft of golden light
that cascaded over the pale blue plane
and brought winds that swept away
all their guilt and pain.
Faint sounds of harmony grew
and frozen hearts thawed and bloomed
before they entered
her great golden womb.
