Quaryo - Logo, Identity & Branding



Quaryo is a brand that believes in the power of data as a key to build intelligent industrial processes. By combining artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning they provide industrial companies with knowledge to optimise and automate their manufacturing processes and to predict and to prevent process deviations.

During my internship as a graphic designer at KAN Design, I worked on the brand and corporate identity of Quaryo together with my colleague Tunke Lauriks. This project displays a selection of the different designs I created for their new identity and company logo.




Brand personality archetypes characterise universal patterns of behaviour that we all instinctively understand. They reflect the personality of a brand and can be used to better align a brand with its specific customer target group.

These archetypes can be linked to different characterising colors and values and can help to set the tone of the writing and speaking style. All of these elements can be used as an inspiring starting point for the design sprint.

The Sage archetype is reflected in science, knowledge and truth (objective and data based propositions). the nature of Quaryo: a company that helps and supports organisations improve their bussiness.

The Hero archetype is particularly evident in the mentality of the team and describes how
Quaryo acts to achieve its goals: with a lot of perseverance and courage in their abilities
