Pinctada Apparel is a streetwear brand established in Broome, Western Australia. This small regional Australian town is famous for its hot weather, crocodiles, and pearling history. Pinctada aims to capture the town's charm and pearling history throughout its branding while appealing to the streetwear/apparel market. The brand values that were established throughout this project were exploration, adventure, nature, community, style & purpose. The logo itself is based on the copper helmet that pearl divers would wear when diving into the deep sea to collect and farm pearls. The result is a highly dynamic and flexible logo that fits the streetwear market perfectly and can be used across brand assets effectively.
