FTNN News Open 

Each of the FTNN Openings made takes place within 3 decades, the 70s, 80s and early 90s.

This intro is supposed to be taken from the early to mid 1970s and is based on those short bumpers that would play on the evening news. The Font, Color and style is a reference to Sony VHS tape sleeves

This news open was meant to take place in the year 1980s, where bright neon logos were all the rage. My intended audience was for mature adults. I watched videos of old 1980s news intros from around the world to get an idea on how they looked back then. I used a combination of the glow effect with the saber plugin to achieve this effect, As well as a noise/grain effect overlay. 

This news open was meant to look like an after school project for the local school news, as if a teen student actually made it.  I watched several tv commercials from the 90s from Nickelodeon which this was inspired by. 

My intended audience was young kids and tweens. 

The logo was animated using the puppet tool to give it a quirky gooey effect.

The purple duck was hand drawn by me using vector on photoshop then imported onto after effects to animated it.
