KRAMPUS: a horned beast in Alpine folklore. During Christmas Krampus assists Santa by scaring children who have misbehave. On December 5 Krampus rewards the well-behaved with modest gifts (like oranges). The bad ones get stuffed in a sack, beaten with birch rod, and eaten. Yum
