To draw is freedom, the necessity to create something that can grab people and pull them into a work through line, color, texture, and the feeling it invokes.  I have come to adore the brown paper for its natural neutral color, it helps give a ground so I can sculpt the drawing out of the paper and is a reoccurring theme in this body of work.
