Merry Christmas everyone!

Here are images from a Christmas installation project I completed recently. We went with another concept for the project, but this was an idea I enjoyed designing.

The concept was a minimalist luxurious white Christmas. The focal element was a massive Christmas tree with a surface pattern inspired by an exploded acorn. Light reveals through the openings and lights up adjacent areas.

Scattered around the tree and amidst the surrounding areas are giant Christmas decor emerging from the ground. In continuation with the festive theme, the decorations are framed minimally with large red frames symbolizing gifts.

The combination of luxury with the white Christmas theme led to a brilliant reflective silver as the primary material. The silver reflects pedestrian traffic and increases perceived activity in the spaces, bringing more life to the area during these socially distanced times.
