二十四个节气中，当数冬至最为独特。它亦是节气亦是节日，亦是自然亦是人文。作为节气，它代表着昼短的极致，自此伊始，“数九”而后又春耕；而作为民间传统节日，它承载着古人对自然的崇拜，对深邃文化的追根固本。
“冬至大如年”，让我们庆祝它，庆祝这个“小年”，拜神祭祖，聚会宴饮，庆祝至暗时刻的结束，在这之后只需数上九个九天，便是寒尽暖来，万物生机深春时。
The Winter Solstice is the most unique festival of the 24 solar terms. It's a solar term but also a festival, combining the attributes of nature and humanity. As one of the solar terms of China, it marks the shortest day and from then on we can start looking forward to Spring. Meanwhile as a traditional folk festival, it bears ancient peoples' worship towards nature and their pursuit for profound culture.
The Winter Solstice is as grand as New Year. Let's celebrate it, celebrating this "Little New Year", worshiping gods and ancestors, gathering and feasting. The darkest hour is coming to an end, after which only 9x9 days to be counted comes the vigorous Spring.
