BASF are the world's leading chemical company. Roughly once a year they produce a magazine called "Creating Chemistry" that acts like a newsletter to inform and help the brand to engage with people.
Just after their second issue was published, they decided that an online version of the magazine was needed, and so began the arduous task of translating the printed copy into a digital feature. All articles, big and small were translated for web and BASF's new, simple, illustrative style needed introducing too. The website was a huge mountain to climb and as a result now features an extensive collection of pages relating to food and drink, industrial chemical use, and of course the environment.
The website features interactive 'hot-spot' pages, photo stories, and a huge list of scrollable and expandable articles. To view the website as it was intended please visit; creating-chemistry.basf.com
