Munchies Pizza - Brand Idendity




GOAL
The goal is to develop a visual language that takes on a fresh and youthful approach to a pizza concept. The brand aims to foster a distinct brand experience through effortlessly cool visuals.

BRIEF
Munchies is pizza restaurant with youthful population as clientele. It provides its customers with a wide variety of pizzas. The design should be playful, upbeat, modern within the latest trends, dynamic with playful shapes and colors.

SOLUTION
I designed its branding with certain traits in mind:
playful, modern, youthful, harismatic,dynamic, colorful.
I decided to use triangles as representation of pizza slices. They’re in a different color and size because I wanted them to represent the different sizes and tastes of Munchies pizza. And also I wanted the logo to convey a feeling of 3 people hanging out and having fun so it would appeal to the target audience – youthful population.
The “pizza slices” from the logo were used to brand any media, from package design to the uniforms of the staff.
The contrasting and bright color palette conveys the enthusiastic and adventurous spirit of the brand.
I chose sans serif font with rounded corners that demonstrates the modern, fun, exciting and welcoming attitude of the brand.
