At Blug, we like families. We like our own families, we like our working family and we love to discover and share the way other families work together. Allow us to introduce you to one of the families with whom we have worked with: a 10-year relationship with the Sogrape family. For the past decade, we have followed the evolution and the history of a company that started as the largest Portuguese wine company, to become the largest Portuguese wine company in the world. Being able to witness the growth and development of this family is an honour and a pleasure. Watching the fourth generation enter the company scene evokes a sense of pride like it happened to us.

From the Douro to the world, Francisco Van Zeller Guedes created, packaged and sold the world-renowned Mateus Rosé, which helped to create a name and to attain experience and production capacity to establish the family’s dominance in the Douro Valley. Through constant innovation, the willingness to take risks and the ability to establish solid and lasting relationships, Sogrape has become what it is today: a family business that reaches the four corners of the world, with a huge influence on the way wine and vineries are planted, harvested and produced.

We have had the opportunity to create authentic monographs of a company’s life history in real-time. The Annual Report & Accounts book that we develop for Sogrape is a yearly piece that tells the history of both the company and the family, as well as stating the remarkable moments that define the direction of the future.

Much more than a mere keynote of accounts, an annual presentation of results or even a regular status report on the company's status, we treat Sogrape's Annual Report & Accounts as an essential moment of communication, where we are able to reinforce and increase the representation of the brand's values. We seek to present visions, introduce ideas and highlight the company’s good work and positive achievements.

We also make time and way to work on our relationship with the client in a fluid and organic way, which allows us to explore new editorial executions and experiment an optimized and effective reading. We value the consistency of our relationship while pursuing evolution and innovation in the presentation of differentiating and striking elements. And we never repeat formulas but are set on a quest for originality with each passing year.
