The Myth Of Athena
I was influenced by the Greek and Roman civilizations and how great they were and have a special character particularly in arts in comparison to other civilizations, and I chose to visualise  a myth that combines the two civilizations in my project, which is the myth of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and strength. She was known by the Romans as Minerva, her story according to the Greek mythology was told that one of the gods told Zeus that his wife, Metis, was pregnant and would give birth to a son that would be stronger than Zeus, so Zeus swallowed Metiz to prevent the fulfillment of the prophecy, and as soon as he did he was hit with a severe headache, so Hephaestus, the son of Zeus from Hera and the god of blacksmith, had to hit him with an axe on his head, and then Athena came out of him fully dressed, screaming cries of war.
She was known as the goddess of war and the protector of cities, especially the city Athena, which was named after her. And she was the goddess of wisdom, agriculture and the grantor of olives for humans. She's usually shown in art wearing a helmet and holding a spear. Her major symbols included owls, olive trees and snakes. The largest temple the Greeks have ever known in their history, was built for her, which was the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athena. Her feast was one of the most important feasts in the Greek civilization. Artists have often used Athena as a symbol of freedom and democracy
