As Pearson began redesigning UI/UX of their online learning products, they called upon me to create unified illustration/branding. They were struggling with style consistency and mundane illustrations. Together we built a style direction through color, character development and concept that underlined the personality and direction of the Pearson brand.
The illustrations for the Pearson Instructor Product needed to motivate, be calming, approachable, and character-driven. These Empty State and Spot Illustrations guide the instructor as they build courses, grade work, and keep track of student progress. A cool color palette, approachable characters, and calming whimsical shapes set the mood for a productive year of teaching and learning!
