During the process of photography the string I found myself in a constant battle with the mass of yarn that wanted to sink and my own body that wandered to the surface for air.
And so each photograph records a form that had not previously existed and morphed as soon as it had taken on its previous shape.
Together we danced a the waltz of floating and sinking.
