Samsung held a design contest with Dezeen, looking for designs that show the TV is more than just a piece of technology, but something that can be a feature in a home interior. Jonathan chose a design to match his preferred home decorating style known as "Jungalow" which brings an abundance of plants and colors to a room. Taking inspiration from wicker furniture, Jonathan's TV stand was meant to look like rattan but molded in steel to control quality in mass production and for easier assembly at home. Furthermore, customers would have the option to choose between brass, nickel or black.
