Mech Fight
Player Goal
the game is supposed to be a player vs player game where the players control spaces on the board, where they must capture resource points, and gain points that they can use to buy units. they then use those units to fight each other over the resources. the players then either defend, or attack the other opponents base. if they get enough points they then can create a mech that they can use to dominate the game space.
My Roll
My roll in the project was in the beginning I had helped with the initial designing of the game and the concepts that went into it. I also helped during the second half of the project with preparing the board and getting everything ready. I also helped with game testing and giving ideas on how units should work.
What Worked / Didn't
clearly what didn't work was the length of time that it took to play a single game. it took way too long to get through a time for what we were trying to get in the class however that was all a core part of the game. another issue with it is, in the end it was all way too complicated with how the individual units interacted with one another. 
What We Changed
in the end we added to the income amount of income for what the players would get so that they could speed up the game time a bit faster, however the rate at which the players were playing was still a bit too slow as it seems it would take around 20 minutes to complete a game. other changes we had done were the to the unit health and abilities, especially to the larger mech as the health of the mech in the beginning was too large for balance so we lowered it so that it would be easier to deal with, and lowered the cost.
