Custom Historical Chair Design
This chair needed to incorporate elements from 3 historical chairs into the design. I chose a Frank Lloyd Wright, a Windsor, and a Klismos chair (swipe to see them). The result is a VERY dramatic and linear design, and I am so pleased with how I turned out!
Historical Room Design
I had to take an image of a room and incorporate 5 design elements from one historical period. I chose the Gothic Period and added the following in my design:
1. Gothic windows.
2. Tapestry - specifically the famous 'Unicorn in Captivity'.
3. A black and white-striped marble coffee table inspired by the Siena cathedral in Italy, distinct for its use of horizontal line in an era which favoured vertical height.
4. A metalware piece (either a teapot or urn of a sort) on the back console.
5. 2 decorative pillows featuring a geometric Gothic pattern.

For this custom armchair design, I was inspired to go bold with a luxurious paprika velvet upholstery fabric, a fun mustard pillow and gorgeous vintage legs. I added custom folding and welting details for a little special something extra.
The end result is a retro (but-make-it-classy) vibe and a chair I want to snuggle up in.
