Startupz is a startup studio from Amsterdam which develops and launches innovative new products.
Starting from the original design, I made some changes to improve the aesthetic aspect of the website.

Design process
The modifications I made include: color palette, animations, and text composition.
From the start-up definition (=business build from scratch), I wanted the website to looks like a sketch, so I used the colors: black for text font, white for display and red for CTA buttons. All three are contrasting colors, each one being used with the purpose to deliver a different message.
Black represents the foundation of the website which has to be powerful, formal, sober, with a big impact on the user.
Red is used to catch user attention on the main points of the website such as buttons, menu bar and keywords.
And for a clean and airy layout, the color white was the best choice. Also, white helps the user to maintain focus on the website content.
As Norman Nielsen said, information is more powerful when is sustained by a representative image. The human brain has the ability to memorize an image for a long term while information is easier forgotten or misunderstood. So I decided to use the images to emphasize the company mission and to draw user attention to who is Stratupz and what are they doing.
