For my Icons I chose to draw inspiration from the show MADMEN.
I heavily focused on items that were significant in these characters' day-to-day lives in the advertising industry on NYC's Madison Avenue in the 1960's. Not only capturing the literal essence of the objects themselves but the bold, clean, and modern art style of advertising at the height of the midcentury.
