The Hyper Real exhibition was a special event for the Black History Month at Concordia. It showcased many artists from diverse backgrounds whom were studying in the Fine Arts at the University. Their work exhibited a voice through art, and expressed a creative freedom that was once oppressed in the past. This project was strongly relevant to my line of work as it pushed to create designs that could represent a community without ridicule, appropriation or cliché'd images.

Extremely relevant today, this project was under the coordination of the VAV Gallery, which is Concordia University's gallery at the Fine Arts building. The VAV strongly encourages students to exhibit their work as it would give them the exposure and recognition they deserve.
