A night in Amsterdam's busiest neighbourhood. 

Shot in a chilled spring night of May 2020, this project briefly documents the streets of the usually crowded Red Light District in Amsterdam at night, during a pandemic. 

The streets that by this time of the year are packed with people from around the world soaking the liberal soul of the city, are now occupied by an eery sense of reality and unsurprisingly happy neighbours enjoying the highly necessary tourism breather that the pandemic brought to the city. 

It's a brief documentation that conveys this ambiguous feeling through the contrast of colours, textures and people (or the absence of them).
