INSIDE OUTSIDE
This series was made at the beginning of COVID-19 when there were lockdowns throughout the globe. For the first time 100 years all seven billion people on earth were experiencing one thing at once. People were stuck inside for weeks at a time, afraid of what would be met on the outside.
These images explore a voyeuristic yet welcoming view from the outside, in. There is a theme of windows being between the viewer and the subject to enhance that feeling of separation and isolation we were all experiencing.
There is a sense of longing throughout the series; longing for answers, longing to be on the other side of that window, longing to feel safe again.
