The concept for this table was to reinvent the "first apartment" coffee table into an elegant piece of furniture and art. Instead of cinder block legs and a plywood top, the materials this coffee table uses is stained and lacquered quartered Red Oak, and concrete topping mix free of aggregate. Except for the legs, there are no visual supports to suggest that the spanning 22"W x 50"L x 2"H table top weighs over 230 pounds.
