Brief
Jjang Trinket is a fashion and apparel brand for women. Their products are combining beauty and mystery through pattern and collage.
Solution
During the brand strategy phase, we found out that the brand had a uniqueness from the concept. I tried to design the logo as simple as it can be to portray the girly side from the products. Meanwhile, for the products and packaging I tried to design it using various collage into a pattern to portray their concept.
A Tribute To
Collage artist Aleksandra Morawiak and Parsons Branding Studio. This project is combining collage and branding, two subjects in design that I usually work on separately. In this project, Aleksandra Morawiak as a collage artist from Poland inspires me with her creativity to apply collage on various media without losing her soul in surrealism. Meanwhile, Parsons Branding Studio based in Ireland and Cape Town inspires me with their various branding media with Swiss Design layout and Semi-Flat Design color scheme.
Project Outcome
Brand Identity from “Jjang Trinket”, my prospective business that I want to try in fashion and apparel. This project uses a pastel color scheme from Semi-Flat Design with Swiss Design layout just like Parsons Branding Studio did on their branding media. Meanwhile, the collage and pattern visualization uses surrealism-classic style. The collage and pattern are not only applied in the product, but also on label tag, packaging, and greeting card.
