This was a personal project I did for Arkansas State Trumpet Studio. The issue was a logo trumpet studio students could rely on for everything.
Starting the process, I came up with ideas on how I wanted the logo to look.
This was the final sketch both the client and myself agreed on.
For the first round of the logo, the client love the layout but wanted the S to be more S shape and he wanted to have 'Trumpet Studio' to be with the logo.
here, I was playing around with the wording of how 'Trumpet Studio' would look like with the image logo. As I was playing around with the wording the S still look more like a five.
I love how 'Trumpet Studio' fits together with one another, yet the S I was not a fan of and the client agreed.
My thought process started from the logo they like recently; then, I put some notes about what makes the S shape the way it is. Later, I sketch up some S thumbnails to give me the general idea of what the S shape looks like and how it will look like on the logo. Finally, from picking out the S I love, and the client loves, I play around with the wording because I didn't particularly appreciate how STUDIO was formed.
I receive good feedback about my logo from the cilent. He loved how I put Trumpet Studio together and how the S shape was more of a S shape. After the feedback he wanted me to create a white background logo.
From this stage, he loved everything about the logo from both light and dark. I also showed him what would it look like with no background.
This is the final look of how the logo turn out to be. This was a fun project to tackle. By doing this project, I learn about different types of logos and what purpose they serve as a brand. This project help develop my software knowledge and skills by creating a logo.
