When photographing my Propel package outside, I knew that I didn't want to use any other colors that weren't in the design itself. This is because I wanted everything to feel very cohesive and together. Being that I only had two main co.ors in the design, blue and green, I wanted to keep with this theme of minimalism, hence choosing a blue sculpture background. I also like how there is cement in the photo as well that allows it to feel more natural and industrial making the package feel like it is coming to life.
I was inspired by Vlad Grama for my copy and transform project. He uses different shapes and those type forms to create compositions, which he did everyday for a year. Using his process, I came up with this package design and product of a Propel bottle. I used colors inspired by the kiwi strawberry bottle to create, in the best words, a busy minimalist design. I didn't want to use a ton of type because Vlad's designs are focused more on the shapes rather that words, so this inspired me to use that aesthetic in my product.
