Vintage Vogue Homage
I love fashion and Vogue but because of the high demand for photography I will not have to chance to illustrate covers like artists before photography.
I recently came across some beautiful vintage Vogue covers that were illustrated and decided to create homage art inspired by the composition and style.
When I came across this cover I was so inspired and in awe of its style.
I began my sketch...
Then I played with my colors and afterward decided to bring in some of my own style with the fantasy elements and geometric shapes on the dress.
I fell in love with process and began to create another one. It was during this one that I felt as though I was grasping something new with my work.
I know that many of my future works will be inspired by this experience.
